The Mega Event of The year named Tech-Colosseum will be organized by ABACUS on the 21-22nd March,2009.Here is the first glimpse of the events that are supposed to take place in this Tech -Fest.
1. Code Jam:- In this candidates will be given a set of problems that they have to solve in C/C++ over a period of time.
2. Web'et:-This is a web designing contest where candidates have to develop a website over a period of time on a given theme.
3. Bug Buster:- It is a debugging event in which few set of problems is to be debugged.
4. Picasso:- In this participants have to design an innovative poster on a given theme using any image editing tools like photoshop, corel draw etc.
5. Clippz:- A theme will be given on the first day with a proposed starcast and basic storyline. Participants have to create a movie promo of 1-2 min.
6. AD Mania:- A product will be given one day before and you have to prepare a advertisement for the given product.
7. AlgoRhythm:- In this logic or pseudo code is to be designed, no coding is required.
8.Robo Code:- A game where you have to code for a tank's movement and for firing at other tanks.
9. WINrathon:- This will test your knowledge about WinXP and its Tips and Tricks
10. BrainVita:-It is a quiz, with a twist.
11. Crossover:-TPP from a domain other then your own.
12. Nut Cracker:- Test your intelligence with brain busting problems.
13. Fatal Pulse::- Kick THE Dust in their faces!
